My so-called life: Haley

What I think I love most about My so-called life: SENIORS sessions it that every session has some sense of adventure.  I don't always know what we are going to do ( I mean, there is a loose plan) or what we might come across, climb on, find, but I know we are going to have a great time doing it!  This time of life is so exciting, entering your senior year, and I love getting to capture the moments!  Haley wasn't too excited about an early morning shoot (in fact, I'm pretty sure she thought I was lying about what time we needed to meet).  All of my evening times were taken and it was a pretty hard sell, but wow did it pay off.  There is something so special about the morning light and we had the perfect spot picked out. I love all of the haze from the morning sun, Haley's curly hair ( here I am, still, with my stick-straight, wimpy, limpy hair) Not to even mention those green-to-die-for eyes.  The camera loves her- and I hope you love these!

I usually try and avoid shots where the light is really strong, but I love this picture.

Baby Cakes Anna

Meet little one year old Anna!   She is celebrating her first birthday this week!  We romped and rolled all around town shooting her cute face!  She gives true meaning to the term "baby blues"...cutest blue eyes ever!  She is walking already, so her mom and I had a fun time trying to keep up. Enjoy some favorites!

This birthday hat was a great idea- except for Anna wanted to look at it, not wear it.  About the best we could do.  It's because she got tricked into taking off her bow instead of the hat for 2 seconds, long enough to get this one!

This is her favorite book- all about animals.

Sweet Little Gracie

Here is a sweet little baby you may remember.  Lindsey Lee Photography did her baby pictures when she was just a little thing that fit into a bread bowl.  Now she is growing and sitting up!  We had a nice, hot and muggy time during our shoot and Gracie was a PERFECT angel.  The only time she even whimpered was when we wouldn't let her play with blocks!  Enjoy her sweet little dumplin'-ness!

Who could resist this face- not me! Even with drool!

Totally ticked we wouldn't let her play.  I got these blocks at the infamous Hillsville fleamarket last year.  I tried to wheel and deal with a lady with really bouffant-A hair with lots of lip liner.  She DID NOT want to deal.  I tried to buy the whole basket, but she still made me pay per block!  Grrr.

Happy baby now that she has blocks:)
