Gwen and Brian

I just got back from St. Simon's Island, GA where I shot Gwen and Brian's wedding!  I am so excited to be showing you some shots from their wedding!!!  First of all, how can you not love a place as beautiful as St. Simon's.  The island is just so reminiscent of the past and there is so much history all around.  The moss is hanging from the trees, the river is winding through the marshes...it really is just an amazing place and I was so lucky to get to shoot there.   It was so special and memorable to be with Gwen and Brian on their special day.

Gwen's hair was AMAZING!  Her aunt MiMi did all of the of the girl's hair.
This was the look on Gwen's face when she realized her mom walked into the room and saw her for the first time all dressed. Precious.
The weather was amazing...but incredibly cold.  Here is Jackie trying to look warm

I loved the Bridesmaids color combination, especially for the fall

Gwen's parents surprised her with a horse-drawn carriage that brought her to the chapel
Brian's face as he saw Gwen for the first time!
This chapel was the sweetest thing I have ever seen.  It's name is Lovely Lane Chapel.  How can you not love that??
At the end of their ceremony, all of the congregation followed Gwen and Brian to the river to do a Stone-Throwing Ceremony...which represented everyone adding their life to Gwen and Brian's. There was a lot more to it, I just can't remember:)
Mother of the Bride, Grandmother of the Bride and Aunt of the Bride walking to the Stone-Throwing Ceremony.

Fun, but cold Bridemaids

Go Dale!

Ok, I had to put that title because I met up with this adorable Brother/Sister duo at the Dale statue in Kannapolis. Anyone who knows me knows I have a special place in my heart for Dale....seriously.

There stood the statue in all of its glory...too bad it was, oh, 30 degrees outside! We were FREEZING! Poor little Mary Beth did a good job of not looking like an ice cube in her cute little dress. William and Mary Beth wanted to get some pictures for their parents for Christmas (go MB for thinking ahead!) Shooting siblings is so fun, especially when you can tell they actually really like each other- amazing.  I also am obsessed with the colors they had on for the first half of the shoot.  Take a look!
This is my favorite shot of the day....William may not be thrilled that I blogged a pic of him holding his sister's hand, but I have to say that it is just heart warming and precious. I love it.

Th Flynn's

The fall has been full of fun family shoots. Here are just a few from a portrait session with The Flynn's. As a side note, this little sister was the most precious thing I have ever seen! I love all the colors in the background.

Belly!!!

It is so much fun for me to to celebrate with friends as they move through the different stages in their lives! I have been friends with Suz since I was a sophomore in high school (seriously, where did the time go??) I met with Suz and her husband Matt last week to get some pictures of her ever-growing belly before she has her little baby sometime in the next three weeks. They made the decision not find out if the baby is a boy or a girl, so it will be super exciting whenever little Baby Love does finally get here! Hope you like the pictures of this glowing mommy-to-be!

This is my favorite shot of the day!

The Robinson's

It is that time of year- Christmas Card time!  I have had a lot of families lately getting together their Christmas Card and family pictures for relatives for the holidays.  The time is now for the good 'ole Family Picture!  This is the first of a few posts of some really really adorable families.
Meet the Robinson's!  The colors were beautiful the day we shot their pictures...and we even managed to get little kitty in a few.  Miles and Molly kept me laughing as we tried to get some "serious" shots.  They are so fun and SUPER photogenic.  If you want more information about having Lindsey Lee Photography do your family portraits then give me a shout!
