Happy Birthday Dad

These sweet girls and their mom wanted to do some mother/daughter pictures to give to their dad for his birthday.  We did this shoot down at the Hartsell farm and Joe came along for comic relief...:)  The girls are all so photogenic! They are putting their favorite shots in a book that I am doing for them to give to him on his birthday (GREAT present idea!) All of their images turned out amazing, but here are some of my top favorites.  I hope their dad likes his present!

Sweet Little Ansley

I have been meaning to get these pictures up for a while now...sorry for the wait.  Meet little Ansley.  These are a couple of my favorite shots we took while up at Windy Gap.  Look at those eyes!  It was definitely the day of the blue eyed baby up at the Gap. Enjoy!

NEW HOUSE!

Last Wednesday, I signed my life away on a new house (well not new, but new to me!)  Needless to say, things have been nuts with Mike, the painter/mechanic, carpet cleanings, hauling truckloads and truckloads of all my stuff, and trying to round up all things I have put in countless storage spots.  A big public shout out to Joe, my wonderful boyfriend, for pretty much being the best thing that ever happened to me (and my move!:)).  Between switching out fixtures and basically rewiring every outlet in the house, he has been the most amazing help to me.  I would go on, but lets just say EVERYONE should hug him when they see him (especially if you know me and how I might possibly be in a move situation).  So anyways, the point to this entry is to say I have a lot of amazing shoots to put on here, but I would also like for my house to me a little more "me", so entries may be sporadic for the next bit.  I hope to have a few shots up soon of my fun new place!

Larken and Lainey Rose

Larken and Lainey Rose are two cute little biddy buddies I did last week.  This brother/sister pair are SO much fun!  Larken is 8 and Lainey Rose is 4, and they just have this great relationship with each other.  I met them at their house  at High Rock Lake...we looked for fun spots around the house...then at the end of the shoot I let them go nuts in the lake in their "picture clothes".  It was amazingly cute and fun.  I told them we could have a splashing contest- which they were real jazzed about. However, Lainey Rose was soaked in a approximately 3 seconds and Larken was totally dry.  So much for getting those fun water in the air shots:)  This first shot is my favorite of them because it pretty much sums up their personalities.  Enjoy!

This must be what angels look like!

Yesterday I headed up to Windy Gap, the YL camp in Weaverville, to see some of my friends that are working there for the month.  I had already planned to do one shoot, but with tons of cute babies running around everywhere, it got a little out of control- I LOVED it!  This little ray of sunshine is Rorie.  She must be one of the cutest little girls I have ever seen!  Enjoy looking at this sweet face.

WEBSITE LAUNCHING IN LESS THAN 2 DAYS!!!

Exciting news!!!  My website:  http://www.LindseyLeePhotography.com   will be launching in less than 48 hours!  I hope you all are as pumped as I am( there is still work to do on it, but it is still super exciting!)

Cousins

Yesterday I had a chance to hang out with this fun set of cousins!  Dylan and Kendall are from out of town, so while they were in town for a visit their mom's wanted them to get some pictures taken with Sydney and Riley.  They are going to give their grandmother the pictures as a gift (what a GREAT idea!!!!)  We headed to some awesome farmland Concord-where I happen to know the owners.  It was just perfect and exactly the kind of mood they wanted for their shoot.  Of course, we had a great time together- although when they would get distracted exploring the barns, I would have to remind them how we could lose the light!:) ( I'm pretty sure they were sick of hearing about it).  Anyway, it was great.  Here are a few of my favorites, and possibly my most favorite picture to date.  Guess which one it is.
Probably my favorite group shot.
You guessed it! People laughing just makes me happy!
