Family Love- The Beard's

This family is absolutely precious. Holly could possibly be the happiest baby on the planet! For over an hour she let us poke her and change her and she didn't seem to mind a bit. Trust me when I say most little ones are done after about one outfit change. But not Holly! Her big baby blues are the sweestest and I know that Abby and Tyler are just smitten with her. Enjoy these!

Love this first shot. She was posing for the camera.

Stacy & Bubba {charlotte wedding photographer}

Before I left for Thailand I shot two December weddings. Both of them FREEZING cold...and both with rain/sleet/snow. Stacy was a total trooper- and it made me SO thankful that we had such a beautiful bridal portrait day so that she totally go to rock her dress in some natural light. The boys braved the cold a littler better with all of their layers, but no sooner did they arrive to begin did the bottom drop out. These two didn't skip a beat and had a fabulous day. S and B- hope married life is treating your amazingly! Have a great weekend!

Loveshoot- The Godwin's

Love this couple! I shot their wedding my very first full year in business and I was so honored when they wanted to do one of the fall mini-sessions! Bethany and Steven are honestly two of the sweetest people that I have ever met- so I have to say that they make one dynamite couple. Enjoy!

The Workshop- February 12th, 2011

**EDIT: The WORKSHOP is now full**

I am so very excited about The Workshop that Joe and I will be hosting on February 12th in downtown Concord. There are 2 spots left, so if you got that fancy new camera for Christmas and would like to know how to work it, then this is the place for you!

Here is what you need to know:

*The class will be from 9am-1pm with lunch provided

*This is a class for beginner DSLR users. What if you don't have a digital SLR? Borrow one and come join the fun! The class is for people who have never "gotten off green" when using their camera to those who have read the manual but still don't completely understand what the heck an f/stop is. It is not a class to become a professional photographer, but for those of you that just want to take better pictures with that fancy camera you have and actually understand what you are doing.

*There will be lots of one on one time and plenty of time for questions- then we will all practice what we have learned with real LIVE models.

*Tuition is $150 and there are 2 spots left. Email me at lindseyleelancaster@gmail.com to hold your spot. I will email you back reserving your spot and will then confirm with you when the tuition is received. Due to the size and nature of the class, the tution is non-refundable.

You can see more about the last workshop HERE. And, because no post is the same without a photo, here is one from our trip to Thailand. We went to the floating market outside Bangkok, where Joe bought this mystery item to eat from a VERY old woman who made it in her boat with a tank of propane and a wok. Yes, he was a lot braver than I was. Yes, I lost three pounds. I can't wait to show more pictures from this outing.

Her December 4th wedding was a little more than freezing, so I am so glad that her bridal portrait day was absolutely beautiful. Wedding to come soon!

Family Love- The Meade's

Back before the weather turned frigid and we all ate too much food at Christmas and Thanksgiving, I hosted three mini-session dates. The goal was to process family sessions quickly and get the orders out at a decent turn around time in plenty of time for the holiday gift giving....which is why none of these sessions got blogged. Now that I am settling back into things- and have a little bit of a break from the breakneck speed that we survived the last couple of months, I am excited to show you all some of the images from these sessions. More weddings to come this week, but since it was so cold out I thought these bright and sunny photos could make us all smile! The Meade Family is precious and I could shoot their two little ones ALL day. Stay warm people!

so we went to Thailand...

A dream came true. We shot a wedding abroad. We were gone two weeks, we carried camera equipment all around Thailand, we got a tan(that was short-lived), we rode an elephant, we shot an amazing Thai wedding celebration, we traveled home...we are whooped. I have a two weddings to process before I will get to this one, but here is a sneak peak. Lots more photos of the wedding and our travels to come.
