True Love- Ginny and Ricky

Love these two! I met the fun couple up in Boone for their engagement shoot...afterall, it is where they really met and fell in love! It was the most perfect fall day, albeit a little windy, but Ginny and Ricky had some amazing spots picked out. I don't think I could have done better myself! It was also actually really great to get up to the mountains during this busy season here in life and just enjoy a beautiful drive and fall weather. I had such a hard time picking favorites, but here is my go at it. Enjoy!

True Love- Brooke and Patrick

Love these two! Brooke and Patrick were so fun to be around and we had such fun times on our engagement session. They are doing the long distance thing right now for Patrick's job- so they were especially excited to see and love on each other! So fun! As a side-note, while we were taking some of these pictures in an awesome soy bean field right off the road, 4 cars stopped to ask if we were broken down and if we needed help. At first we thought we were going to get yelled at, so it was such a breath of fresh air to find out that there are still some amazingly sweet people in the world!!! Enjoy just some of my favorites!

The Real Star of LLP

I have so many things coming up on the blog, but for now I am just treading water getting bridal portraits and weddings out the door. But, get excited for all the goodness to come for weeks and weeks! For now, here is the real star of this operation.

Mini-sessions...a teaser!

Today was the first of the three mini-sessions we have planned. There are too many to post a blog for every session, but here is a sampling from today! We had such amazing weather and it was the perfect day to play. I am saving the whole family shots, but here are lots of others! November 7th is already booked up, but next Sunday I do have a few sessions left. Shoot me an email if you are interested!

True Love- Courtney and Jayme

These two bleed purple and gold, so it was only fitting that we did their engagement session on the campus of ECU. It was a beautiful carolina day and we had such a blast hanging out at some of their past haunts(and mine, too!). They try not to miss a game, so it was Jayme's long lost dream to have pics taken in the stadium....so fun! Enjoy some of my favorites!

Darby: An American Sweetheart

It is really absolutely ridiculous how obsessed I am with this sweet little face! I just want to squeeze her and hug her and love her and talk to her and kiss her all day.....really. We just hopped outside to take a couple of photos since all of her most recent photos have consisted of an iphone and of really horrible overhead light. Darby is growing and becoming such a sweet little bear, she weighs about 25 lbs now. I miss her teeny tiny puppy days but am loving this stage right now. I happen to think that she is the smartest dog in the whole world.....I know most people say this, too....but we actually have proof because the trainer at Pestmart agrees. Joe isn't here right now to take the holding photos, so that will be next time. If you can stand her cuteness, take a look!

Love this couple, love this place, love this day. I absolutely LOVE Beaver Dam, it has so many wonderful things about it for photographers. It is picturesque, there are many backdrops to work with, and the sun there always seems to set just perfectly. It was no different on Cara and Jarrod's wedding day. The most perfect light glowed on them all day...seriously, it was no joke. Another amazing job by From This Day Forward with the flowers and cake, too! my so-called life: paige

Another most fabulous senior! After shooting her sister's wedding I was so excited to get to see this amazing family again and take Paige's senior photos! The day ended up having some great light even though it threatened rain and we even pushed the session up. A total natural in front of the camera, I don't even think Paige can take a bad photo. Here is a sneak peak! I'm loving how you can finally see fall coming through in this session.....bring it on!

You may remember his sweet face...and also his little backside. He is my best friend's little boy and I love him. He is so precious and I could just eat him up! With his big baby blues and his sweet red lips, he makes me heart melt and I know he will yours, too. And, because I love him, he gets an extra long blog post. Happy Wednesday!

I had so much at Anna and Eric's uptown engagement shoot! We had such a beautiful day before this mini heat wave came back....we walked all around town and I think I definitely got my steps in for the day! Enjoy this sneak peak!

This family could be the poster family for what to wear to your photo shoot! Bright, vibrant colors and not to matchy matchy= I'm in love! Reese and Wheeler and are too cute and we had a great time playing. Love this family and love these photos! I could just eat them up!

I wanted to also mentioned that there are 5 mini session slots left! 3 on 10/31 ( Halloween, of course- bad planning on my part, but hey! we don't have any kids so there was nobody to remind me:)) and two slots on 10/24.
