Emily & Brandon- True Love

My engagement session with Emily and Brandon was really more like a hang out time with friends. These two are so in love, and of course, Emily's smile is contagious, so getting gorgeous shots was not a problem for these two! We managed to find the perfect field at sunset and the light couldn't have been more amazing. Can't wait until the wedding!

I have the best job in the world, following around people in love! These two make it easy.

{Amanda & Mark} Statesville Wedding Photographer

The love at this wedding was so thick you could feel it. Their guests were so genuinely thrilled to see Amanda and Mark get married that is was hard to not stand back and just watch the love fly around. Amanda, totally calm and serene, greeted me at the door with a smile, a too big polo, and curlers in her hair. I knew from that moment that the day was going to be just perfect. and it was. Here is a sneak peak of their beautiful day. A and M- hope the Dominican is treating you well! Drink a fruity drink for me!

Amy and Joe- True Love

I had a great time meeting Amy and Joe in Davidson for their engagement session. We had a perfect day for some fun and even "stumbled" upon this fun cruiser for some pics. Their wedding at the Peninsula Club is sure to be a blast next year. Enjoy these sunny photos on this dreary day!

Bridals: Amanda

I have been just waiting and waiting for Amanda's wedding day so that I could finally post her bridals! We went back to some of the same spots as her engagement session because, basically, it is where all of the magic light lives (see below). I can't wait to show a sneak peak of Mark and Amanda's wedding photos on Thursday- these two have more love for people than anyone I have ever met. For now, enjoy Amanda's bridal portraits!

Heath and Laura- True Love!!

I can't wait until this fall for Heath and Laura's wedding! Not just because I love them as a couple and think it will be so fun, but because Heath is my first cousin, and the closest in age to me in my family. Yup, I love him. Their wedding will not only be a celebration for the two of them, but a big 'ole family shindig at the same time! Laura, she is like family already and we can't wait to welcome her officially. Heath and Laura really started their love affair way back when, in their teens, and never forgot each other. We always said that when Heath met someone and got serious we would know. With Laura, well, we just all knew. Love these two and am just so grateful to get to experience these moments with them!

Sarah and JR- True Love

This session totally knocked my socks off! I've been dying to get it up on the blog. Sarah and JR's session was styled by Lindsey Regan Thorne who also did Sarah's hair and make-up. I can't say enough how much these extra touches added to the shoot! Earlier in the day it didn't seem like the weather was going to hold out, but it did and we had a fabulous time. Lindsey also came to make sure everything looked just perfect. Um, Lindsey, can you come to all my shoots?

JR and Sarah make a precious couple and I can't wait for their wedding this fall at The Big Chill. This is such a fun and unique venue! The space has a vintage feel and Lindsey will also be styling their wedding, so I know it will be fabulous with lots of photo candy. Sarah and JR- it was a blast. Happy Monday!
