Brian and Michelle

Brian and Michelle have been married for over 4 years and were overdue for some "good pictures" together as a couple.  They have a little girl, Madison, and we are going to do a family shoot very soon.  Brian was one of the most comfortable guys I have ever shot in front of the camera!  He is a fireman in Cabarrus County...I hope one day we can shoot Michelle over at the firehouse;)

We laughed a lot, especially at my technique of hugging the ground, etc, all while getting them not to notice.  I have not shot out of Joe's family farm in a while, and since Brian and Michelle live right near there, that is where we headed.  The sky couldn't decide what it wanted to do, but no rain - thank goodness!

If you are sitting there thinking to yourself- "Hey, me and my husband haven't had some great pictures together in a while..." - then give me a shout!  It is a lot of fun to go out and just be together for a couple of hours and get some great pictures of your love for each other!

As a total side note before you look at these delicious pictures- I went back to Ikea yesterday.  Yes, it's true.  It was my third time going and I must say that it was still amazing.  I think I will be getting a couple of items there for props in the near future.  So- get real excited about that!!!  I will be sure to note which items are Ikea amazingness.

Um, Yes, Please.
In the running for possible favorite.
I really really really really like this picture.
I think Favorite.  Yes, ok, Favorite.
I absolutely LOVE this picture.  I think they were giggling about who was going to kiss who.  So fun!

Baby Lincoln

Meet Sweet, little, cute baby Lincoln.  He is three weeks old!  Baby Lincoln had his first photo shoot with Lindsey Lee Photography at his parents house in Concord.  Sheila and Chris are so fun- not to mention beautiful and photogenic- themselves!

As a side note- I am eating a Moe's burrito right now- and it is AMAZING.
This outfit was handmade for Lincoln by a lady at their church.  He looks like a little angel.
He has little grown up feet. Precious.

Baby yawns.  They are the best.
He is going to be a rocker like his dad when he grows up.

New Favorite Song

Today I had a great shoot with a little baby named Lincoln- so be on the lookout for those pictures in the next day or two. In the meantime, I must use my blog as a forum to discuss my new favorite song. I love all types of music, but I listen to a lot of country. When I first heard this song, I was in love with it...now I just listen to it over and over on the internet and wanted to share it with all of my blog followers.  I really love the beginning-it gives me chills!  Maybe some of you haven't heard it yet and will like it too! You should probably go buy it on itunes, or you could listen to it on YouTube like me:)  Enjoy!

I Run to You

OH YEA- and if you haven't seen Sara and Dane's feature on the website- get over there and have a looksie!

Kelly and Eric

Yay for snow and Yay for this blog post of amazing Kelly and Eric photos.  I knew Kelly from my Young Life days and she and Eric are getting married in July!  Hard to believe that my old YL kids are getting married!?! There is a picture on my fridge of her when she was 18 and now she is getting married!  How did that happen???  This girl has been such a blessing in my life and I am so excited for her future with Eric.  Not to mention, these two are really good shag dancers, so Joe and I are going to have to hit the town with them!  We can't wait!

We had an awesome engagement shoot in Greensboro, Eric's home town.  It was so fun getting to play with them for an afternoon.

I love this picture.  It just captures who these two are as a couple!  Sweet and loving and smiling.  I just like to look at this picture...pretty much every few minutes.

So I must now confess my obsession with people with red hair.  I love their hair, I want their hair, I am ticked I can't have their hair.  Their hair is so cool and this picture is just more proof of why red-haired people are the best colored hair people.  I mean look at it, who wouldn't want that hair!!!!  So, the moral of this whole story is I really love red hair.   I like seeing it and taking pictures of it.  If you have red hair, please contact me so I can love your hair too.
A little adventure happened on this shoot!  We were shooting in an alley way in Greensboro and saw the Fire escape to the roof.  No NO TRESPASSING sign was going to stop us!  Although maybe it should have:)  Needless to say, we weren't the first people to ever be up there.  There was a lot of graffiti and other nonsense all around, but I just loved the pictures that we got.  A little different from the soft, sweet look.  I hope you like these shots as much as I do!

This is Joe's favorite.

Favorite shot of the day.  I just love love love LOVE it.  I fall in love with images all the time, and this is on the top of my list right now.  I just love Kelly's expression, the rooftop, her red hair( I know, you get it)  I already ordered a big one of these to hang in my window space in downtown Salisbury(  Oooooh, exciting new news for everyone!!!)  Kelly and Eric- it was so fun being with you!  I can't wait to shoot your wedding in just a short little while!

To my new love: Ikea

I would just like to give a blog shout-out to my new love- IKEA.  Basically, it was love at first site.  The traffic, the cops, the crazy parking lot...all of that became blurry as I locked eyes with her, there standing so blue and yellow.  I hope we get to spend more time together soon.

Love,
Lindsey Lee.

Get Ready

So I know I have been talking about all the stuff I have been holding out on!  I know, right....get on with it already!  Well...I'm trying!  Computer work stresses me out...But here is a sneak peak at just one of the many new things that are going to be up on the website soon.

Last weekend took me to Las Vegas!  Meet Dane and Sarah!  These images just gives me the shivers!  They are going to have a feature on the website soon....so these are just a couple of teasers.  Feel free to comment.  We were in front of some Vegas signs and in the Red Rock Park if you are wondering of the location.  We couldn't have asked for better light as the sun went down over the mountain.  It was really breathtaking and to get to capture these moments was awesome.

Could be my favorite shot of the day.  I love the lense flare action, their body language towards each other.  It just makes me love LOVE.
